Her clinical focus is on providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with cancer, with specializations in oncology rehabilitation, exercise oncology, and addressing balance impairments related to cancer treatment. Kaitlin also has experience in bone metastasis, and chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. She is particularly skilled in exercise prescription and activity promotion, focusing on improving the quality of life for individuals within the oncology population. Beyond oncology, she has a strong interest in the rehabilitation of both post-operative and non-operative orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Kaitlin earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Adapted Physical Activity, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, both from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.

Carol H. Mayfield, CRNP Carol H. Mayfield, CRNP is a nurse practitioner with AHN Primary Care Institute. She specializes in family practice and her clinical interest is in osteoporosis. She is also a Provider for the Osteoporosis and Fragility Fracture Clinic providing care for bone health. Prior to this, Carol was a Primary Care CRNP for 10 years with Family Practice Medical Associates South Carol H. Mayfield did her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at California University in California, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She has a background in both critical care and medical/surgical nursing. Carol has been the recipient of the Cameo of Caring Award and in 2023, the AHN Excellence in Advanced Practice Nursing Award. Carol H. Mayfield believes in a comprehensive approach to the care of patients and sees patients ages 18 and older.
