After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University with a Ph.D. in Psychology in 1965, I worked in a variety of settings around the country, including being Chief Psychologist at Santa Cruz Community Mental Health Service, and publishing 15 research papers in major journals, and presenting 18 papers at Psychological Conventions. I returned to Pennsylvania in 1980, and began Jeffrey G. Shapiro, Ph.D., in 1982.
