Pleasant View Retirement Community, established in 1954 and a nonprofit organization, offers nursing care, and assisted and independent living services to senior citizens throughout Pennsylvania. The services offered by the organization include rehabilitation, personal support and respite care, home health aides, and therapeutic and social services. The organization offers independent apartments and cottages that provide a variety of services, including cleaning, dining, housekeeping, laundry, wellness and transportation, and recreational and learning activities. It offers a variety of amenities to residents, including fitness centers, fully equipped kitchens, garage parking, beauty salon, barbershop, meeting lounge and media center. It is affiliated with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and is spread over an area of more than 100 acres. Pleasant View Retirement Community is located in Manheim, Pa.
