This is the classic neighborhood spot for good reason, great food, friendly/fast service, and welcoming dinning space with a huge bar. No matter what time or day, this spot always fits the bill....

Henry James Saloon, established in 1989, is a staple in the Philadelphia neighborhood, celebrating over 30 years of serving the community. The saloon offers a diverse menu featuring hearty options such as French Onion Soup, Meatball Sandwiches, and the Cordon Bleu Burger, all in a casual dining atmosphere.
The establishment is well-regarded for its inviting ambiance, friendly staff, and a solid selection of beers. Patrons enjoy the cozy setting, especially during warmer months when the outdoor area with TVs becomes a popular gathering spot for locals.

Great bar. Lots of nice locals. The bartender was a little slow, but he was nice. Great neighborhood ambiance. Cold beer. Loved it.
