In 1977, with the opening of B'nai B'rith Beber Camp in Wisconsin, the camp was renamed in honor of Anita and Louis Perlman. The camp is operated on a nonprofit basis and serves boys and girls between the ages of seven and 17. Because it is an agency camp, its fees are below expensive private camps, yet its facilities and programs rival the finest private camps in the United States.
