Harrisburg Area Community College-Gettysburg Campus

Established in 1964, Harrisburg Area Community College, also known as HACC, works to foster the educational, cultural, workforce development and economic growth of the college service areas. It organizes intercollegiate sports, including basketball, volleyball, tennis and soccer. Harrisburg Area Community College offers an honors program and scholarship awards for high achievers. Additionally, it features an active student government association, numerous clubs and a newspaper. Harrisburg Area Community College offers certificates, diplomas and associate degrees in arts, science and applied science. It provides education in a range of subjects, including art, biology, business, communications and foreign language, computer technology, engineering and global studies. Harrisburg Area Community College offers an orientation program for incoming high school graduates. The college organizes free tutoring and academic workshops, and offers academic advising and career counseling services.
