Founded in 2007, Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace is a retirement community that occupies more than 45 acres of space. The agency features an assisted living residence and 35-plus-bed skilled care center. It has over 70 cottages and nearly 90 residential living apartments. Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace offers crisis intervention, case management, hospice care and counseling services. The agency, in a partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, provides federally subsidized housing programs for senior citizens and physically disabled persons. It is a part of Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania, which offers nursing, rehabilitation, home care and community outreach services. The parent organization annually serves approximately 9,500 individuals.
