The Hand Rehabilitation Foundation, established in 1975, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in Upper Merion Township, PA. It was founded by members of The Philadelphia Hand Center, P.C. with the aim of promoting research and education, as well as disseminating information to physicians and therapists working with individuals affected by hand disorders caused by injury, disease, or present at birth.

Each year, the Foundation organizes the renowned Philadelphia Meeting, a symposium that brings together an international faculty of hand surgeons and certified hand therapists. This gathering serves as a platform to teach and demonstrate the latest advancements in hand rehabilitation, closely correlated with hand surgery. Since its inception in 1974, the symposium has attracted thousands of hand therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and surgeons, enabling them to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge in this specialized field.
