Dr. Altman has extensive publications in professional journals, including The Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, American Journal of Sports Medicine, and The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He has authored multiple book chapters and has been invited to speak at national and international meetings. Currently, his basic science research focuses on ACL injuries and improving fracture healing. Dr. Altman is a member of numerous medical societies and committees. These include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and the Pan American Trauma Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with additional certification in sports medicine. He speaks English.
