Brian F. Moore, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and comprehensive orthopaedic care. He is committed to providing advanced treatments to improve mobility and quality of life for his patients. Dr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, graduating summa cum laude from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore did his orthopaedic surgery residency training at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Moore is dedicated to utilizing the latest techniques and innovations to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Adam Schwab is a certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopaedic trauma, orthopaedic spine, and sports medicine. He is experienced in injections, splinting, and fracture care. He is committed to getting to know his patients personally, to optimize care and make the treatment process more comfortable. He sees patients ages 16 and up. He speaks English. Adam Schwab earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of PAs, Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Dr. Gregory Altman is co-division director, Orthopaedic Trauma, for Allegheny General Hospital (AGH). He is an expert in the field of sports and traumatic orthopaedic injuries. He specializes in complex knee and shoulder reconstruction. Additionally, he treats complex extremity and pelvic fractures. Dr. Altman earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. After completing a fellowship at the University of Rochester in Sports Medicine, he served as a clinical fellow and instructor in Orthopaedic Trauma at Harvard Medical School/The Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to returning to his native Pittsburgh, he served as the director of Orthopaedic Trauma at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Currently, Dr. Altman is associate professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Drexel University School of Medicine. He has served as the vice chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery at AGH since 2007. Dr. Altman directs the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at AHN. Dr. Altman has extensive publications in professional journals, including The Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, American Journal of Sports Medicine, and The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He has authored multiple book chapters and has been invited to speak at national and international meetings. Currently, his basic science research focuses on ACL injuries and improving fracture healing. Dr. Altman is a member of numerous medical societies and committees. These include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and the Pan American Trauma Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with additional certification in sports medicine. He speaks English.
