The history of world religions comes to life through this museum's extensive collection of art and artifacts from different cultures and time periods. Glencairn was once the home of Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn. It was built between 1928 and 1939. Glencairn became a museum after the death of Mildred Pitcairn in 1979. Let their guides show you the best the Museum has to offer by taking the Highlights Tour. Tours leave regularly Tuesday through Friday at 2:30 pm and weekends at 1:00, 2:30, and 3:00 pm. The Museum's first floor, including the Great Hall, Upper Hall, and Bird Room, is open for self-guided access on weekends from 1:00-4:30 pm. A FREE cell phone tour of Glencairn's exterior and 1st floor is also available. Reservations are required.
