Dr. Samir Mehta is a fellowship trained orthopaedic trauma and fracture surgeon, treating broken bones and injuries of the arms, legs and pelvis. His goal is to improve function by restoring form, including fixing fractures that have just happened, along with fractures that may not be healing or may have healed incorrectly. When most people think of "trauma", their thoughts often go to events like car crashes or falls from heights or natural disasters. But, trauma is any sort of injury, like tripping while running or missing the last step on the stairs or breaking something during an athletic event.
