She completed her residency at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She gained additional training through a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, Renal Physician Association, and American Medical Association. She is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
