History

Fringe spawned from Ruth Daneman Salon, which opened back in 1990 in the same space. After 25 years of being in the biz, Ruth decided to move back to her homeland of England. Ruth passed the torch to Erin and three years later, Fringe Salon was born! Our salon continues to be the bohemian edge of Passyunk Ave but this time we spruced it up with more stylists, a new color line and products, and rotating local art for sale. Look 'n' listen for the disco ball that blings in the Bok Building!

Fringe specializes in custom cuts, color and curly hair textures for women and men. The Fringe Team believes in providing the best in hair care: from in depth consultations to finished result - we aim to give the client a look that they can confidently wear and style as their very own.
