Rutter s Dairy began as a two-employee operation in 1921 before blossoming into a dairy that has served more than 25 million customers. The dairy sells products from New York City to south of Washington, D.C. The company also maintains more than 50 convenience store locations that feature Sunoco and Rutter s-branded gasoline. These stores average close to 4,300 square feet, employ between 30 to 40 staff and offer fresh food and friendly service. Rutter s Dairy s products include whole, lowfat, chocolate, ckim, mega-skim and acidophilus milk; lactaids; buttermilk; half-and-half; light and whip cream; nondairy creamers; sour cream; cottage cheese; butter and margarine; flavored yogurt; egg nog; apple cider; Nestle and Hershey brand milk products; flavored coffee creamers; and numerous cold drinks. Rutter s Dairy maintains operations in York, Pa.
