Susan graduated from Kent State in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation while majoring in therapeutic and municipal recreation. Her practical experience has included work with the Dade County Parks and Recreation Department, the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Lancaster Township Parks and Recreation Commission and most recently as the Director of Recreation for Freedom Village a retirement & long term care campus. Susan is a member of the National Recreation and Park Association and of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society.
