Fonthill Castle is made entirely of concrete and was built between 1908 and 1912 by Henry Mercer. The 44-room castle was created not only for Mercer to live in but also to display his beautiful tiles made in the nearby Moravian Tile Works. The house is open for guided tours every half hour.
