Adam Rowe joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2012, following a 5-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Adam understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Shippensburg University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University. He holds Series 6, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New York, Vermont, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio and Alaska. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Adam serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Tony Smith joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 1999, following three years working as an industrial engineer. Prior to that, he served for four years in the United States Army. There, he served in the Army's Ordinance Corps, and completed a 1993 combat tour in Somalia. He attained the rank of Captain. A graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Tony holds Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. He is a Certified Financial Planner & Trade certificant, and a member of the Financial Planning Association and GAMA International. Tony advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Through a values-centered approach to financial planning and a client-first philosophy, Tony is committed to helping his clients plan confidently for the future and to accompanying them on their financial journey. Born and raised in Carlisle, Tony understands the community and is well suited to serve the financial needs of families in central Pennsylvania. Tony is a member of the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and the Carlisle Evangelical Free Church. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and three children.
