History
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates more than 600 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The agency was created by state law on Nov. 29, 1933, at the end of Prohibition. Pennsylvania is one of 17 states and two Maryland counties in the U.S. that controls the sale of alcohol. The agency is governed by a three-person Board whose members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by two-thirds of the state Senate. In addition, the PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits - totaling more than $15 billion since the agency's inception - are returned to Pennsylvania's General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania's schools, health and human services programs, and law enforcement, among other important public services.

Lady with brown hair and glasses hid behind manager desk after rudely yelling across store that "You better have your ID" to two thirty year olds. Disappointed because have been going here for...
The two men who work at this establishment are the rudest and MOST racist people I have ever encountered. We came to this liquor when we are all of age and they were following us around the store,...
A surprisingly large selection of wines. They a friendly, courteous staff. The location next to Ahart is also helpful.
Waited 15 min for the manager to come out of the employee room for help. Rude af. Other employee was busy at the register.
