Dariela Cardo, OD, brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to SightMD PA. Dr. Cardo was born in Cuba and grew up in Miami, Florida. She is passionate about helping others and improving vision care in her community. Dr Cardo's academic journey began by earning her Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of Florida. Motivated by her passion to explore the realm of eye care, she pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she graduated with distinction. Committed to excellence, Dr. Cardo expanded her knowledge and expertise by completing a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the same institution. This specialized program equipped her with advanced training in cutting-edge techniques and technologies concerning corneal health and contact lens fitting, guaranteeing that her patients benefit from top-tier care.Dr. Cardo offers patients a wide range of optometric services, specializing in specialty contact lenses, comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma management, and the treatment of ocular diseases.
