Evangelical Community Hospital

Evangelical Home Health, an extension of Evangelical Community Hospital, provides in-home professional health care services, and is based in Lewisburg, Pa. Its services are available to residents throughout the central Susquehanna Valley in Pennsylvania. To be eligible for skilled home health services, the patient must be under the care of a physician and require skilled care for a medical need that can be met at home on a periodic basis. Referrals may come from the patient, his family, physician, a hospital social worker or other agencies. Evangelical Home Health s services include nursing services, such as wound care, injections, colostomy, catheter care, tracheotomy and feeding-tube care, cancer, cardiac and pediatric care, and management of diabetes. It also provides other services, including physical, speech and occupational therapies, and medical social services.
