William T. DeCarbo DPM, FACFAS, brings compassion and dedication into his patient care at Greater Pittsburgh Foot & Ankle Center in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Dr. DeCarbo enjoys helping people with foot and ankle conditions find the best treatment for their needs and provide them with lasting relief.Dr. DeCarbo is a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, andhas beenpracticing in the South Hills of Pittsburgh for the past 12 years. He received his medical education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduation, he completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency and served as chief resident at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.Following his residency training, Dr. DeCarbo went on to complete a prestigious 12-month orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio. As a passionate learner, he also pursued a six-week traveling fellowship, learning advanced techniques in foot and ankle surgery.His fellowship experiences include Georgetown Universitys Limb Salvage Center in Washington, D.C., as well as Schulthess Kliniks Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Zrich, Switzerland, and the University of Heidelbergs Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics and Foot Surgery in Heidelberg, Germany.In addition to his dedication to learning, Dr. DeCarbo teaches and is an active researcher in the field of foot and ankle surgery. He continues to lecture at state, national and international meetings. His research is also published in over 40 peer-review journals and book chapters.Dr. DeCarbo is a board-certified surgeon in foot, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is also a fellow at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Many patients begin working with Dr. DeCarbo based on his empathetic nature and insightful medical knowledge. He always takes the time to listen sincerely to his patients concerns and offers exceptional patient care throughout the surgery process. When patients come into Greater Pittsburgh Foot & Ankle Center, they feel at ease with the welcoming environment and dedicated care that Dr. DeCarbo strives to provide.While treating all aspects of the foot and ankle, Dr. DeCarbo has a special interest in 3D bunion correction utilizing the Lapiplasty system (in which he serves as a design surgeon), advanced reconstructive surgery, the utilization of external fixation, and total joint replacement.

Dr. Cailey Sanborn is a urologist at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) specializing in comprehensive urological care. Her expertise includes minimally invasive treatments for urologic cancers, kidney stones, male urinary issues, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). She is skilled in advanced techniques, such as DaVinci robotic-assisted surgery for kidney and prostate cancer, as well as benign diseases of the urinary tract. Additionally, Dr. Sanborn performs minimally invasive procedures for kidney stones, including laser surgery and percutaneous nephrolithotomy, as well as various BPH treatments (TURP, Urolift, Aquablation, Greenlight Laser Photo-Vaporization). Dr. Sanborn was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and she earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Pittsburgh to complete her urology residency at UPMC, where she gained extensive training in both general urology and high-volume open and robotic cancer surgeries. Dedicated to her patients and community, Dr. Sanborn chose to remain in Pittsburgh to join AHN and continue her practice locally.
