Dr. Shashank Musku is a non-surgical sports medicine physician within the Allegheny Health Network Orthopaedic Institute. He is trained in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries both in clinic and on the side lines. During his fellowship year, he assisted in providing care for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and the USA Rugby team. He currently serves as the team physician for Brentwood High School and Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He has partnered with and the Pittsburgh Cricket League and provides care for their players. Dr. Musku is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Musku believes in delivering patient centered care by offering patients with all possible treatment options (surgical and non-surgical) for patients to make a well-informed decision regarding their treatment best suited for their individual situation.
