She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in nursing from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Jamie also earned her post-masters in psychiatric mental health from Frontier Nursing University. Jamie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau.
