Drive-A-Drunk

History

Drive-A-Drunk LLC was founded in March of 2010 and finally launched it's services on August 1st, 2011. Many things were done during the time between founding and launching the company. Extensive research was done to determine the key factors that lead people to drive intoxicated. Pennsylvania crash statistics from 2005-2011 were analyzed to determine the demographics of those most likely to drive drunk and therefore, those who are most likely to be killed in an alcohol-related car accident. Designated Driver services all across the country were contacted to learn what prevention methods work and those that don't. The company business plan was then written and fundraising began. To raise money to get the service operational, 2000 glow-in-the-dark silicone bracelets were purchased and sold door-to-door and on our company website. Since the company's launch, we have expanded our coverage area from only Hummelstown and Hershey to all of Dauphin County.

Specialties

Round-Trip Transportation - for people who intend to consume alcohol. One-Way Transportation - for those who have alcohol in their blood stream from prior consumption and do not wish to drive themselves home. Designated Driver Services - We will dispatch a driver to your location so they can drive your vehicle for you.
