Ryan Ball, PT Ryan Ball is a physical therapist with the AHN Orthopaedic Institute. He is a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2019 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the same university in 2022. His areas of expertise include sports physical therapy and ACL rehabilitation, post-operative joint replacements, concussion therapy, manual therapy, and general orthopedics. Ryan has been with AHN since graduating from SRU in 2022. Outside of physical therapy, Ryan enjoys recreational basketball, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Slipak is an orthopaedic surgeon who treats patients with orthopaedic cancers and bone and soft tissue tumors. He also provides total joint replacement surgery for hips and knees. Dr. Slipak received a medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He gained further training through a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Musculoskeletal Oncology in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He speaks English.

Ashley Watkins, PT, DPT Ashley Watkins, PT, DPT, is physical therapist with AHN Orthopaedic Institute, specializing in orthopaedic and sports performance physical therapy. She is skilled at athletic injuries, total joint arthroplasties, and manual therapy. She did her Bachelor of Biology, Bachelor of Health Sciences, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Konek is certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy. She practices with the intention to treat the whole patient, not just the diagnosis, and is committed to improving a patient’s overall quality of life through individualized and specialized care. Dr. Watkins sees patients ages 12 and older.
