Established in 1964, Jewish Family Service of Greater Harrisburg, ( JFS ), is a full service, non-profit social service agency offering services to any resident in central Pennsylvania, without regard to age, race, religion or creed, sexual orientation or disability. JFS is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services to Families and Children and is part of a nationwide referral network for social services. Our mission is to promote and strengthen healthy family life for the Greater Harrisburg Community. We focus on empowering clients to remain or become active and productive members of the community. Many of our services are offered in-home to provide access to the homebound.
