The center organizes the DaVita Kidney Education and You Program, which includes kidney health educational classes. It also offers a range of products that includes jackets, beanies, coolers, vests, blankets, bracelets, headphones and headrest pillows. DaVita operates a discussion forum that provides support services for patients. It also owns DaVita Patient Citizens, which is a nonprofit, independent patient organization that offers educational and advocacy services for dialysis patients. DaVita operates more than 1,300 outpatient facilities and acute care units in over 700 hospitals located in nearly 40 U.S. states.
