Dr. March was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Bethesda, MD. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University where he majored in psychology. He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he graduated in the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then undertook fellowship in Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the Norton Orthopaedic Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. There, he trained with internationally recognized experts in the direct anterior approach for total hip replacement.

Dr. Drabicki is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. During this time, Dr. Drabicki trained under nationally and internationally acclaimed shoulder specialists who pioneered many of the arthroscopic techniques employed today. After completion of his fellowship, Dr. Drabicki chose to return home and join GPOA. He currently resides in the Mars area with his wife, Katie, and two boys. As a sports medicine physician, and parent of two, Dr. Drabicki remains closely tied to high school and youth athletics, and often finds himself either on the sidelines as a team doctor or in the stands. He previously served as a head/assistant physician to the multiple collegiate and professional teams. He currently serves as the team physician for the Highlands Golden Rams and Freeport Yellow Jackets,and supports Mars and Pine-Richland athletic programs.

Dr. Giugale graduated from the University of Virginia as part of the prestigious Echols Scholar program. He remained at the University of Virginia for medical school and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He continued his training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he completed his orthopedic surgery residency and subspecialty fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity. As an upper extremity specialist, Dr. Giugale utilizes minimally-invasive arthroscopic techniques, and employs the latest, proven, cutting-edge technology for the shoulder, elbow, and hand. He believes in a team approach between physician and patient, cultivating an atmosphere of trust that is pivotal to a successful outcome. Born to Argentinian parents, Dr. Giugale is fluent in both English and Spanish. Throughout his youth, he lived on four different continents and has a passion for global outreach, performing international medical mission work in Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Peru. Dr. Giugale is an avid sportsman and a fitness enthusiast. He plays soccer multiple times a week in indoor and outdoor leagues in western Pennsylvania. He is fond of the culinary arts, and of the booming Pittsburgh food scene. He enjoys cooking, and is a member of several community supported agriculture crop shares. True to his Argentinian roots, he pursues a life-long quest to perfect the art of grilling steak. He lives in the city with his wife, a urogynecologist, and their baby daughter.

Dr. DiTano grew up in the heart of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Summa Cum Laude honors completing two separate Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Neurobehavioral Science. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating with the Hewlett Packard Top Medical Graduate Award. Dr. DiTano then trained in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA, ranked among the best in the country. He then completed a hand and microvascular fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. He was actively involved in training young doctors in hand surgery as an Attending physician at Allegheny General Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. DiTano has conducted laboratory and clinical studies in the field of upper extremity surgery. He has written scientific articles in journals and has presented his research at national and international levels. Dr. DiTano treats pathology in the entire upper extremity. He is involved with treating common hand conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and hand arthritis with endoscopic carpal tunnel release and joint replacements. Dr. DiTano stated, “These techniques can eliminate pain and restore normal function to the hand.” He continues to specialize in trauma reconstruction and nerve compression injuries in the upper extremity. He also is available to give second opinions to help patients if needed.
