History

Established in 2003, Cutmasters moved into the soon to be Northern Liberties area as a fresh face. Wanting to serve all of our patrons, we operated as a walk-in only barber shop on a first come, first serve basis. Having progressed through the years and learning what clients want through experience, things have changed, going from a four chair barber shop with lots of traffic to a private one chair shop with low but steady traffic and a relaxing ambiance. Here at Cutmasters, I strive for greatness. Along with an excellent haircut, I aim to provide an excellent ambiance and service. As a licensed barber since 2002 and over 25 years of total experience, I feel confident in saying I have mastered all services and hair types in the barber industry. I have seen a lot of things change, and some stay the same, in my career, which helped give me a better understanding of what clients want and how to deliver it to them. Regular scissor cut to comb over skin fade with a hard part, faux hawk to hair dye and designs, you name it and I can make it happen. Taking pride in my straight razor abilities, I offer an old fashioned hot towel shave with a new school twist adding an aromatherapy facial steamer to ease the process and relax the client. If you prefer the facial hair, I offer a beard sculpting service to bring out the inner grizzly in you. Eyebrow shaping, for those who so choose, puts the cherry right on top.
