Curio Theatre CompanyOur school's mission is to offer quality children's drama education to the local community. We aim to create a non-judgmental, safe place in which children of all ages can be free to create and cultivate imagination, self-expression, and self-confidence. We work towards a final presentation so that our students can learn the beginning, middle, and end of the creative process.* Final showcase for all performances will take place on the stage in Calvary Center for Culture and community ( 801 South 48th Street ) for family, friends, and the general public at the times indicated. To sign up or for more information, please call 215.525.1350 or email school@curiotheatre.orgCurio Theatre Company by Smarley"Summer Camp! The teachers in my daughter's school tell her, whenever she gets up to talk, or give a presentation, "well, you look like you're comfortable talking in public, and do a very good job presenting your material". That's because of Curio Summer Camp! The children learn how to write, costume, and perform a skit in 2 weeks! And no one ever drops their lines!! Unbelievable. The teaching is so good in every aspect of theatre, the kids come away with very important life skills, like talking in public, and/or in front of others. And the confidence level in social settings is noticeable also.
