The Pittston Township Ambulance Association, centrally located in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre metropolitan corridor of Luzerne County, northeastern Pennsylvania USA, is a community non-profit Emergency Medical Service ( EMS ) serving a residential population of 3, 750 and an estimated transient population of 60 to 70 thousand persons daily. The coverage area is 17 sq. miles and contains four major highways ( PA Highway 315, US Route 11, Interstate 81 and Interstate 476 Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike ), three growing industrial parks, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, a Juvenile Detention Center and rapidly expanding retail centers. There is a combination of different zoned areas ranging from residential, commercial/industrial, rural, and wooded. Contained within this web site are various pages for your viewing at your leisure.
