In-Home Services is a division of Allied Services. Allied Services is one of Northeastern Pennsylvania's largest and most diverse providers of health and human service care to people with disabilities and those who are elderly. Headquartered in Scranton, PA, Allied Services 2,500-plus employees and volunteers care for nearly 5,000 people every day at more than 60 locations. Allied provides services and care without regard to race, national origin, age, sex, religious creed or disability. The In-Home Services division was established in 1981 and is a subdivision of the Home Care Division. The institution is accredited by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
