Colonial Intermediate Unit

Founded in 1971, Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 provides academic support services to the administrators and teachers in school districts and also designs programs for the students with special needs. It serves more than 10 school districts and three career and technical centers in Northampton, Monroe and Pike counties in Pennsylvania. The unit has a curriculum services department that offers a wide range of services, such as development of programs, designing curriculum and also provides technical assistance in school improvement and strategic planning. Additionally, the department coordinates periodic meetings for the school district curriculum coordinators, elementary principals, secondary principals and the reading advisory council. Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 is located in Easton, Pa.
