Established in 1991, Colby Manufacturing is a small, woman-owned and operated business. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of medical, hospital, clinic and operating room disposable patient and health care worker safety products. It is ISO 9001:2000 certified company. Some of the products that the company offers include SurgiSafe absorbent floor pads, which ensure a clean and dry operating room; the Waterbug quiet floor suction system, which is a means of controlling waste fluids generated during wet procedures; the ViraSorb super solidifier, which solidifies infectious blood and body fluids; the VeriSite patient labeling system to prevent wrong-site surgeries; and SurgiGuard No Cut labels, which prevent surgical errors.
