We are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of four voting members including our medical director and one ex-officio member who is the Chief of Police of Shaler Township Shaler EMS has 9 full time employees, including 4 Paramedics, 3 Emergency Medical Technicians, 1 Manager, and 1 Outreach Coordinator. Shaler EMS also relies on professional volunteers to staff its ambulances. Volunteers are one of Shaler EMS' most valuable assets.
