Health Plan of the Upper Ohio Valley, established in 1979, is a nonprofit organization offering a variety of health care programs and services to patients throughout West Virginia and Ohio. The various health plans offered by the organization include Fully Insured Health Maintenance, SecureCare Medicare Advantage, Stop Loss Coverage, Mountain Health Trust and Self-funded Health Plans. It has more than 15,000 members enrolled in Medicare programs, and over 150,000 members covered under managed workers compensation programs.
