Children's Village

Based in Philadelphia, Children's Village Child Care Center is a private, nonprofit, independent organization that has been providing early childhood education since 1976. The center serves children of ages 13 months to 5 years. It provides Head Start services to eligible families during the extended child care day. The center organizes field trips for its students and offers meal services. Its toddler program engages students in a variety of activities, such as story reading, art projects, music and movement activities, conversation and neighborhood outings. The center s kindergarten program provides instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. It is approved by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
