Centre County Women's Resource

FAITHCENTRE is a Christian, faith-based umbrella of programs, services and facilities available to all persons. Our mission is to proclaim God's salvation and to minister to all people in order that they may accept God's grace in their hearts. Founded in 2003, FAITHCENTRE is a not-for-profit corporation under the provisions of Federal Code 501 ( c ) ( 3 ). Funds to support the Centre's programs and services come from sales at the Centre's Thrift Store, private donations and grants. All persons and groups are warmly welcomed to work as volunteers and/or to work with Centre staff on cooperative services, activities or program development and presentation.

The Elks Lodge, part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE), serves as a vital community hub where neighbors connect, families share meals, and children grow up together. With a rich history and a commitment to serving their communities, Elks Lodges offer various programs, including scholarships, youth sports, and veteran services, making a meaningful impact across the nation. Central Pennsylvania Community Action Inc. (CPCA) is dedicated to strengthening communities in Centre and Clearfield counties by helping families and individuals become self-sufficient. As a member of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania (CAAP), CPCA works tirelessly to address issues of poverty through various programs and services. CPCA focuses on providing affordable housing, housing and utility assistance, food and nutrition services, medical transportation assistance, and weatherization services to help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency. Through homeowner rehabilitation projects and the construction of new properties, CPCA aims to increase the availability of safe and affordable homes for low-income individuals and families in the region.
