The Cathedral of Learning is a stunning Gothic Revival skyscraper located in Oakland, Pennsylvania, and was commissioned by Pitt Chancellor John G. Bowman in 1921. It stands 535 feet tall, making it the second-tallest educational building in the world and a landmark listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Home to various academic and administrative offices, the Cathedral houses unique features such as the magnificent four-story Commons Room and internationally renowned Nationality Classrooms. Additionally, the building has been recently restored, enhancing both its interior and exterior, and is a notable site where families of peregrine falcons have been observed nesting.
