Laughlin Children’s Center is a community nonprofit resource providing academic support, speech and language therapy, psychological services, and preschool education. We value the whole child, a personal approach with our families, parental involvement, professionalism, diversity, and accessibility to all. Our range of services is unique, and offers families the opportunity to see multiple clinicians all under one roof, from certified teachers to licensed professional counselors, as well as occupational and speech therapists, reading specialists, and more. Because we are a nonprofit, we are able to keep our fees affordable; we accept most major insurances, and we offer a generous financial aid program for those families who qualify.

Kim Durham, MS, CCC-SLP Kim Durham, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with AHN Neuroscience Institute. She is skilled in treating speech disorders in patients with neurological conditions such as concussion, stroke, and Parkinson’s Disease. Her clinical interests include using effective speech therapies, including Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, to help with cognitive communication impairment. Kim received her Bachelor of Science from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received her Master of Science from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association. She has worked in the field for over 30 years and likes to focus on functional skills to help ensure long-term patient outcomes. Kim sees patients ages 16 and older.
