Dr. Cailey Sanborn is a urologist at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) specializing in comprehensive urological care. Her expertise includes minimally invasive treatments for urologic cancers, kidney stones, male urinary issues, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). She is skilled in advanced techniques, such as DaVinci robotic-assisted surgery for kidney and prostate cancer, as well as benign diseases of the urinary tract. Additionally, Dr. Sanborn performs minimally invasive procedures for kidney stones, including laser surgery and percutaneous nephrolithotomy, as well as various BPH treatments (TURP, Urolift, Aquablation, Greenlight Laser Photo-Vaporization). Dr. Sanborn was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and she earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Pittsburgh to complete her urology residency at UPMC, where she gained extensive training in both general urology and high-volume open and robotic cancer surgeries. Dr. Chalikonda has published dozens of scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters about issues and advancements in his field, including the surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer, the treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies and minimally invasive treatment of liver disease. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine's "Best Doctors" in 2019.
