Butler County Historical Society

The Butler County Historical Society (BCHS) is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Butler County's rich heritage through documents, artifacts, and historical sites. Established in 1960, the society operates three historic sites, including the Senator Walter Lowrie House Museum, the Little Red School House, and the Cooper Cabin Homestead, while offering educational programs and community outreach events.
