Dr. Funari, MD has roots in the Pittsburgh region, completing his undergraduate studies at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe and earning his medical degree from West Virginia University. He went on to complete his General Pediatrics internship and residency at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, followed by his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Funari has completed additional advanced training focused on Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI/MRA at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Funari specializes in fetal and pediatric echocardiography and other advanced imaging techniques.

Patricia Hovanec, CRNP, specializes in pediatric cardiology and is a certified nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She practices at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute and is affiliated with UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. She completed her master's degree in nursing at the University of Pittsburgh.

Anita Saraf, MD, specializes in women's cardiovascular disease and is certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She practices at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pediatric Cardiology, and is affiliated with UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, and UPMC Presbyterian. Dr. Saraf completed her fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
