Buckingham Friends Meeting

Buckingham Friends School, located in Lahaska, Pa., offers programs based on skill building, competitive and cooperative activities and sportsmanship. Interscholastic teams participate in soccer, field hockey, basketball and lacrosse. In addition to basic classes, required courses include computer literacy, religion and foreign languages. French is taught in all grades beginning from kindergarten and students can choose to begin instruction in Spanish in the sixth-grade. Buckingham Friends School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, Friends' Council on Education and Pennsylvania Association of Private Academic Schools. The school also offers summer camp that includes woodworking, theater arts, production and set design, ceramics, still-life drawing, water color and acrylic painting, printmaking, crafts, textiles, papier-m ch and problem solving activities.
