As a trauma and acute care surgeon I have the privilege of caring for patients when they least expect it, and providing care to not only them but their families, with the goal of restoration to their pre-injury level. I am the medical director of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Research for the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
