He is committed to establishing a trusting relationship with his patients, so they feel comfortable to reach out to him at any time. He sees patients 18 and older.

Dr. Ruchika Vij is a women’s health specialist in general obstetrics and gynecology. She offers contraception, abortion care, pregnancy care, and laparoscopic and other major surgeries. She is interested in long-acting contraceptives, medical education, social justice, adolescent gynecology, and family planning. Dr. Vij received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed her residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She speaks English. She sees patients at AHN McCandless and Federal North Medical Office Building, Pittsburgh.
