Downington Middle School is a public school that enrolls more than 1,200 students in grades six through eight. The school is located in Downingtown, Pa., and provides physical, health and special education. The middle school is a part of the Downingtown Area School District. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, music, math, science and social studies. Additionally, Downington Middle School provides courses in art, computer applications, technology, family and consumer science, and foreign languages with a choice in French, German and Spanish. Collegium Charter School, located in Exton, Pa., provides educational programs to 800 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, physical education, social studies and foreign languages. It has various facilities that include a media gallery and library that offers an online catalog. The sports activities offered by the school include cross country, football, cheerleading, softball, basketball, baseball, and track and field. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including drama, a student council, orchestra, choir, the National Honor Society, newspaper and yearbook. In addition, the school organizes science fairs and provides transportation to students.
