Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve increases the knowledge and use of native plants by serving as an educational resource and destination that inspires conservation action. The 134-acre Preserve—the only accredited botanical museum in the country dedicated to native plants—hosts a documented living native plant collection that features over 700 of Pennsylvania’s 2,000 native plant species growing in situ (“in place”) within a matrix of sustainable, recognized plant communities. We offer educational programs for all ages, rental areas for events and both volunteer and membership opportunities. Visit BHWP.org for more information. Our operation hours are 9 am - 5 pm, but last gate admission is at 4 pm so everyone has at least an hour to enjoy the Preserve.

Was able to visit this beautiful preserve using our local library museum branch passes. The passes gave us the ability to visit the preserve for free but typically the price per person is $12....

A very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours walking easy trails and learning about the native wildflowers and medicinal plants of the area. Also saw wildlife like frogs, snakes, birds, and turtles
