Bethany Place Residential Care Center

Since the 80th Anniversary of the Bethlen Home in 2001, we've started to compile a database of names and addresses of persons who once lived at the Children's Home. We held reunions in 2001 and 2003. Volunteers provide friendly visits, sometimes staying with the patient while the caregiver is out of the home. They are good listeners who provide emotional and spiritual support, run errands, read to the patient, pray together, help organize family photos and mementos, watch TV together.

Autumn Ridge Assisted Living is a privately owned, more than 50-bed residential facility for senior citizens. The organization features an outside deck, lounges, library, and reading, private and semiprivate rooms. It offers computer and Internet access. Autumn Ridge Assisted Living includes a beauty salon and private dining room. The organization also provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It offers housekeeping and laundry services. The organization provides activity programs and personalized care plans. In addition, it offers supervised physical care services. The organization features televisions and private phones. It offers nutritious meals daily, as well as medication management and assistance options. Autumn Ridge Assisted Living is located in Monroeville, Pa.
