The Eye Center of Central PA sees adults, teens, and children all throughout Central Pennsylvania to diagnose and treat a variety of eye health issues. At our Shamokin Dam office, we utilize state-of-the-art technologies and diagnostic techniques to identify a number of eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, keratoconus, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal issues, as well as visual acuity conditions (like myopia, presbyopia, and hyperopia). Some of our most frequently performed treatments are LASIK (which is performed at our Muncy, PA location), PRK, MIGS (minimally invasive glaucoma surgery), treatment for flashes and floaters, refractive laser cataract surgery, and various retinal procedures. Our Shamokin Dam, PA facility has an on-site optical center where patients can receive prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses to improve their ability to see day-to-day without surgery.
